Moneque Richmond-Walker is a native Memphian and her musical journey started as a young musician. Her love for vocal music began early serving as choir directress at the New Galilee MBC (Rev Early Gentry-Pastor). She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and later joined Greater Beulahland COGIC where she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Richmond-Walker received her Evangelist Missionary license in 1999 and is presently a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, where the Bishop Charles Harrison Mason Patterson, Sr., is the Host Pastor and Jurisdictional Prelate (Guatemala Jurisdiction). Evangelist Richmond- Walker has served in the capacity of a gospel announcer for WBBP, where the late Bishop G E Patterson was the general manager for 11 years. She is the former Tennessee 5th Jurisdiction Minister of Music (1993-2000).
Evangelist Moneque Richmond-Walker currently holds the positions of: Director of Choirs at Pentecostal Temple COGIC (Bishop Charles Harrison Mason Patterson, Sr.). She also serves as the Vice President/Assistant Minister of Music of the Guatemala Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. In addition to, also humbling serving as the Choir President of the Women’s Chorus in the Guatemala Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
Evangelist Moneque is the wife of Elder Mark Walker and the mother of O’Livya R Walker. In 2007, she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communication, with her major in Video & Film Production. She received her Masters of Arts in Religion in 2016 (The Relevancy of Church Music) and is currently working on her Masters of Divinity.

Chip Washington is a Los Angeles, California native who came to the South in the early 90’s with a dream of being in the TV news business. Since then, he has worked at stations in Jackson and Meridian, MS. Other stops included stations in Jackson and Memphis TN including WBBJ, WHBQ and WMC-TV5 as an anchor and reporter. He has also worked in the area of PR, media relations and corporate communications in various senior level positions from private to for profit, non-profit, academic organizations and businesses. Chip also served as the Public Information Officer for both the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and recently the Shelby County Health Dept. His love of the radio broadcast medium brought him to this side in 2019 and he has been behind the mike every since. Chip is married to Wanda and the father of two children; Breanne and David. He is excited to be a small part of such a legacy station in our city and hopes listeners will be as well.

Willie L. Tate Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Rust College and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Broadcast Journalism. Willie has been in radio now for three years. He is also an Educational Assistant with Shelby County Schools. Willie is on the path of obtaining a Master's degree In Education.
Willie enjoys spending quality time with family and he loves influencing and making an impact in the lives of others. He enjoys serving in GOD'S Kingdom in and Out Of the 4 walls of the Church. A Bible verse that keeps Willie motivated, encouraged, and determined is Roman's 8:28

With over 25 years of experience in educational leadership, non-profit executive management and ministry, Rev. Dr. K. Andre Brooks serves as serves as Pastor of Providence African Methodist Episcopal of Memphis were he is Noted for ministerial emphasis on social justice, grassroots organizing, education reform, and leadership development.
Rev. Brooks is redefining the role of the urban Church and its impact on community revitalization. A noted expert in education leadership, inter-governmental affairs and community organizing, Dr. Brooks provides his unique perspective and analysis to local/national media outlets for his research and programming on African American student Achievement and community economic development . A former High School Principal and Certified Superintendent, Dr. Brooks continues to redefine the role of K-16 Urban Education and its impact on community revitalization and economic transformation as founder and CEO of The Anvil Community Development Corporation where he works to transforms distressed neighborhoods in the city of Memphis.
Dr. Brooks received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from LeMoynne-Owen College and his Master of Education from Coppin State University, Masters Of Divinity from Howard University, Certificate Of Non-Profit Executive Management from Duke University, Doctorate Of Ministry from Payne Theological Seminary and Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Morgan State University.

Maya Harris was born and raised in South Memphis, Memphis, TN. She attended undergraduate school at Middle Tennessee State University where she obtained a degree in Criminal Justice Administration--Courts and Law, minoring in Political Science. She interned with Blake and Leslie Ballin of Ballin, Ballin, and Fishman law firm. As law school was her next step, upon returning to the city in 2019, Maya saw a void in the education system and began dedicating her time to the youth during the pandemic as an English specialist for eighth graders. She also found a new passion and love for radio broadcasting. Maya was able to combine her knowledge of law and criminal justice and her love of gospel music with radio broadcasting and joined the WLOK family in 2022. Maya also serves as our Programming Coordinator.
