Zika Virus Confirmed in Tennessee
The first case of Zika virus was confirmed in Tennessee on Tuesday. A local infectious
disease specialist, Dr. Steve Threlkeld tells a media outlet to learn how real the threat
of the virus is in the Mid-South. Disease researchers and specialists are warning people to
keep covered when at all possible and to use a deet-based insect replellant.
